Arthur Lebedin
Arthur Lebedin is one of the founding partners of Lebedin Kofman LLP. He has concentrated on Business and Consumer law ever since graduating law school with a certificate in Business Law. Arthur was one of the fortunate few to serve as a summer associate with JP Morgan Chase Legal while in law school. He has used his experience to resolve debt issues for both consumers and businesses as an attorney. He focuses on matters involving state and federal consumer credit litigation and resolution. He specifically prefers to help consumers that are being sued or harassed by debt collectors and debt buyers. He has helped defend clients against aggressive creditors and has been able to remove numerous default judgments that have been entered against consumers in New York.
Arthur also focuses on the niche field of Student Loan law, litigation and resolution which is one of the newest and most relevant issues in the legal world. He has been able to help many clients resolve their impending Federal and Private student loan issues. He defends clients against student loan lawsuits in both state and federal matters. Arthur is an experienced consumer bankruptcy attorney that has successfully handled all sorts of bankruptcy issues. Arthur is a native Brooklynite who is also fluent in Russian. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and is admitted to the New York and New Jersey State Bar. He is also admitted to the New York Eastern and Southern District Federal Courts.
Russ Kofman
Russ Kofman is a founding partner in Lebedin Kofman LLP and is a member of the New York State Bar. While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Kofman was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Constitutional Law. He went on to gain extensive litigation experience defending clients accused of felonies, misdemeanors and DWI/ DUI crimes. Currently, he continues to practice complex civil litigation and criminal defense, as well as perfecting and arguing criminal and civil appeals.
Mr. Kofman is also a zealous advocate for consumer rights and puts his experience to use aggressively fighting for consumer’s rights and for the best interests of his clients. He is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States Federal Courts and in the United States Tax Court.
